For most of you who haven't already heard, June 25th will be forever remembered as the most shocking date in the history of 2009. On that day, Michael Jackson aka the King of Pop died of a heart attack at the age of 50. I was a huge fan of his legacy as a musican who did incredible things during his time here on Earth, and he will be sorely missed.

It's still a shock for me to fully grasp that he's gone since I heard the news, and my heart is trying to heal a deep hole that his death has left within me. It will take a long time for this to sink in, but I know that I will get through it.

One reason why I miss Michael the most is because of the fact that his nature helped me to be the person that I am now. He was kind, caring, loving, and always helping out. His music helped me get through my tough times when I was growing up, and that is why his death broke my entire world.

Regardless of everything that the media said about Michael, it didn't bother me because I could see within his eyes the soul that matched mine so perfectly. Everyone has their opinions about celebrities, but what they have to say won't affect my own opinions of them.

R.I.P Michael Jackson. May God bless your family, friends, and loved ones. You have made a huge impact on my life, and I won't ever forget you.
